Responsibilities

Responsibilities
  • Own, lead, monitor, and report on projects for high-end network products from ES to MP stages, managed through contract manufacturers (CMs)
  • Ensure project milestones and deliverables from CMs are achieved on time and meet all requirements and specifications
  • Work with CMs throughout all stages, from quotation to sample and product delivery
  • Coordinate functional teams, both in-house and within CMs, to support project activities and ensure all documentation (drawings, BOMs, agreements, etc.) is accurate and up to date
  • Ensure Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) are properly implemented and monitored
  • As a key member of the operations team, assume R&D’s responsibilities when products transition from development to PP/MP stages
  • Provide and verify production-related information to support production planning
  • Report issues promptly and drive effective solutions
  • Review CM performance and promote improvements in quality, cost, efficiency, and problem-solving
  • Act as the liaison between the company and CMs
  • Oversee CM activities (in collaboration with PE, Purchaser, QE, etc.), including line setup, material preparation, assembly, testing, and packaging according to SOPs
Requirements
  • Degree in an Engineering discipline; Electronics Engineering preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the EMS/electronics manufacturing industry or product development
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Well-organized with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Able and willing to work in a multitasking environment, under pressure, and with minimal supervision
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin)
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Strong business, cost, and quality awareness
  • Knowledge of networking and/or RF products is an advantage
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Project Engineer role
